When he was a lamb, Lamo the sheep was hit by a car and was taken in by Jennifer Jones who brought him up with three other dogs. Now he thinks he’s a dog and fetches sticks and balls, wears a collar and lead to go for walks, jumps up on his hind legs, and even tries to bark.

A team of scientists in Uruguay announced the birth of the first genetically modified glow-in-the-dark sheep. A gene taken from a jellyfish is responsible for the green phosphorescence in the sheep.

It started when Katie Bradley, tortoise rescuer, came across a turtle with a doily on top of its shell. Amused by the idea, she started crocheting tortoise cozies for her seven tortoises. Little did she know that her handiwork would be a hit among tortoise owners. Here’s a clip of her work modeled by her tortoises.

Hundreds of sheep in Perthshire, North Yorkshire, Middlesborough, Exeter, Melton Mowbray and South Wales have been sighted bearing a mysterious smiley face in a publicity stunt for a new roller coaster ride near Ashbourne called “The Smiler”.
